A Social Learning Community
Using Afrelib ACE platform, this program is about connecting teachers and students inside and outside of the classroom so that learning and feedback can continue to take place.
Our connected community starts with teachers and educators. As the Afrelib Learn@Work program engages with and trains teachers in delivering effective lessons, we encourage a culture of collaboration, peer review and feedback amongst teachers.
This social learning community of teachers and educators extends beyond the classroom so that continuous improvements can happen and good teaching practices can be shared with other teachers, departments and schools.
In order to increase the level of engagement, we use social learning approaches and initiatives (for example, challenges) to support collaboration in developing and improving the quality of teaching materials, practice and teacher-student interactions.
